I have 4 children that attend this school. I was picking my 4 children up from parent pick up- and as 3 of them got in the car they sent my other child she was in 1st grade on the bus????? So as I’m in line picking up so I thought my 4 children the other is getting off the bus 10 mins down the road. This incident actually happened 2 times. Also, same child would come home with accidents almost every week 2x a week.. to the point the nurse called me and asked me if my daughter wasn’t fully potty trained or if she has any concerning health issues as to why she’s having all these accidents on file. Come to find out every time she’s been having an accident it’s because she’s being told she either can’t go during whatever is being reached or she has to wait. Ridiculous. Another experience my daughter was born with a cleft lip and she was being bullied for the whole year and nothing ever seemed to be done about it.

TRS is a great school. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Our kids love the environment, they feel safe and they are excelling academically. The aftercare program is great and gives me peace of mind that they are safe.

Overall the school has a great environment. The teachers are great and accommodating. My kids love it there! The only problem is administration and the way they handle things, but that seems to be the case everywhere. Hopefully when the current principal retires someone professional and capable and sane will take over (not the current AP, please).

I have two boys that go to Taylor Ranch and I have been very impressed with the school overall. The communication with teachers has been excellent. They allow you to have lunch with your children whenever you desire and allowed me to volunteer in the classrooms weekly. I can't say enough great things about this school.

My Grandson went to Venice Christian School and had an uncaring, rude, disrespectful teacher that should have left years ago. So harsh and didn't care about him as a human being...terrible for self-esteem. Academically no complaint about VCS.Then he went to Taylor Ranch, the difference was like night and day...incredible, caring teachers for the past three years. Can't say enough about how wonderful and warm they are. In addition, they have been great about keeping contact with my daughter to keep her in the loop. Academically he is doing great and loves school!

There are not enough words to describe Taylor Ranch. Sadly the district replaced a very effective administration with an ineffective principal and asst principal. They have little knowledge of how or what a elementary school should look like. No personality or real regard for parents or children. The entire climate has changed. Worksheets and whole group up the wazoo. Do not send your child!

We love TRS! We came from a local private school, which we were very disappointed in and are so pleased with this school. The teachers and staff are absolutely amazing. They go out of their way to make both the parents and students comfortable. My only complaint is that the after school staff that help organize the parent pick up line are not always patient. They need to understand that you cannot pull away from the curb until your child is buckled in, which for younger children sometimes takes a little longer than they like. Rushing parents out of there before they are ready is a safety hazard.

Taylor Ranch thus far has proven to be outstanding academically. Our daughter is pleased with her teachers there and has grown socially as well as academically at a remarkable rate. Moving from out of state to Florida, we are thankful that we moved into the Taylor Ranch Elementary school district. Thus far we are pleased with Taylor Ranch and most of the staff. The principal is fair and gentle mannered and we have nothing negative to report.
