How is it that Carbonaro has high test scores and receives good reviews and only has a 5/10 rating? To put so much weight on the metric of progress from one year to the next is a questionable methodology, at best. You are trashing a high-performing school with excellent educators. My son is a graduate, so I am speaking from personal experience. People take your rating very seriously when moving to an area and this low rating has material consequences for a neighborhood. Please reconsider your rating formula and methods.

I will rate this school with a 10. The principal is attentive and is involved in student activities. The teachers have all went over and beyond to make sure the parents are comfortable administering work for homeschooling. The teachers have been supportive throughout these difficult times we are facing. We value and want our children to have a great education in any circumstance. They have tried their best to make sure material was sufficient for our children. They have been great during this whole crises.

Why do I give RWC a five out of five stars, you ask? My answer is simple -- the teachers, the teachers, the teachers. My son transferred to RWC in the middle of the school year last year and his teacher Mr. Roth went out of his way to make my son's transition a smooth one. His teacher this year Mr. Jakubowsky is equally up to the task, and my son is challenging. He is very bright and energetic and cannot be properly managed unless the teacher is on his/her toes. The result of their excellent teaching skills -- my son loves school. My son has NEVER loved school in his life. He loves learning and looks forward to his school work. I will honestly be sad when he graduates from Robert Carbonaro in June.:(

In the nurturing aspect the school is great as a whole. There is a huge parent presence and endless activities the PTA organizes for the children. However, when it boils down to academics the school right now I will say is a work in progress. The teachers in my opinion, are really struggling to teach the new common core learning strategies the children need to adapt to the new standards. It's like the teachers are learning it as they go along with the children.
