I am very disappointed at the fact that my son, a fourth grader with all A's cannot get into any clubs at the school. ... I feel the reason why is because he's a new student. This school does not really have anything to offer the kids like my son, a very bright kid that is thirsty for more than just the Common Core teachings...I am looking into private schools. ...

This is my son's 3rd year at BAS and its been all very positive. So far all the teachers he has encountered are on top of their game and are all very caring. The principal is very involved and its apparent he wants the school to thrive and be a safe haven for our children. Most parents are involved and friendly which makes it a pleasant atmosphere for all. BAS as a whole is a small diverse school with small classes that offer music, art, gym, and has many resources for kids with special needs.

What a great school. M daughter attended Brooklyn Avenue School. The level of education that they are receiving surpass state standards. They are receiving a top notch education. I felt very comfortable when I leave her in the care of the staff. I think the Father / Daughter Dance is an excellent idea for the kids. the Principle is also very helpful and welcoming , I highly recommend this school. Submitted by a parent

What a great school. Both my son and daughter attend Brooklyn Avenue School. The level of education that they are receiving surpass state standards. They are receiving a top notch education. I feel very comfortable when I leave them in the care of the staff. What else is there to say. I high recommend this school.

Brooklyn Ave School is a small scholl that gives great education to all of its 300+ students. School principal as well as all the teacher are welcoming and helpfull. Very clean and neat school.
