  Parents, if your child is considering applying to this school as an international student, I strongly advise against it! The treatment of international students at this institution is deplorable. Virtually every international student, past or present, has encountered harassment or threats. It's evident that those with aspirations for the future do not last longer than a year here; those who do persist are unfortunately accustomed to a culture of suppression and intimidation. Having toured private high schools in California, New York, and Massachusetts, I can attest that none resemble Victory Christian School. A reputable institution should facilitate the integration and adaptation of international students into American life, rather than subjecting them to undue stress. Regrettably, this school exacerbates the challenges faced by international students. For instance, faculty members often exploit the I-20 visa status as a means of coercion. My child, along with other students, endures daily anxiety in this hostile environment. Consequently, all the students I've known who attended this school harbor negative sentiments towards it. It's imperative that admission officers for international students not wield the same authority as the Dean of Students. Given that international students may not possess fluency in English comparable to native speakers, they are particularly vulnerable and require protection. Moreover, the conduct of faculty members toward international students is excessively harsh. Notably, Victory Christian School is closely affiliated with Victory Church, with over 80% of its student body drawn from this congregation. For those not affiliated with Victory Church, the school may prove incompatible. Pastor Paul's anecdote from Victory Church resonates deeply; it underscores the lack of support international students receive in times of distress.
