I have four children and they have all attended Carnegie. I’ve seen many teachers come and go over the years at this school but some core ones have remained and that seems to set a higher bar for new hires compared to most schools. This school attracts good teachers that care about kids. The culture is one of learning and discipline problems and any bullying is addressed swiftly. It really is a peaceful atmosphere for an elementary school and kids who behave are the norm. Kindergarten and first grade teams are phenomenal.

I went here about nine or so years ago from Kindergarden to third grade and I just have to say, it was my most miserable experience I have ever had in any school. I’m a junior and just can’t get over how much this school was awful to me; the teachers were uncaring, the way things were done were just outdated and harmful to young kids, and I just never felt wanted there. I don’t know if it’s a Tulsa public school’s thing or if it was just this school. I also can’t say that it’s still like this now, however, what I can say is that there is much better out there if you’re looking for somewhere good to raise your kid. Overall, I can say for sure that it is dogwater.

Great elementary school. Good teachers who care and solid leadership in the office. Highly recommend.

Overall very positive. Very happy with our decision to send our children.

Very poor. Our home was picked almost entirely to take advantage of this school ad it had outstanding reviews and rankings. Those ratings were earned by prior leadership and the trend is a sharp decline. I would avoid Tulsa public schools in general. They have lost all reasonable direction.

Carnegie is such a gem of a school. Small in size, really involved families, kids that are eager to learn, and teachers that make it exciting.

One of the best ways to know exactly where Carnegie ranks compaired to other schools is to volunteer. Faculty, staff and students work together to be preemptive to problems or needs rather than reactive. Student families and community are always welcomed. Our second child to attend Carnegie was so ready due the inclusion of family in school activities. He has seen his big brother grow and flourish and now he wants to be a part of what his brother gets excited about. Thank you Carnegie for helping to not only book educate our childre but to help them learn life lessons as well.

Great school. My son loved it here. Excellent teachers and great academics as well as electives.
