Both of my children graduated from MHS. They were both in the Engineering program and took all AP classes while attending as well as played sports. They both started their Freshman year in college as a second semester freshman with 16 credit hours from MHS. They were totally prepared for college and both graduated on time in 4 years with Business degrees. They are both employed and doing quite well in their chosen professions.

Overall best HS in the district hands down. My student went to BTW for their freshman year and I got so many complaints about the teachers and administration team specifically the dean. My student's emotional well being is much better and they are more excited to go to class knowing their teacher treats them with respect. This school will work with you about concerns instead of complaining about your student unlike BTW. This school will hold your child accountable but again treat your student with respect and will help you come up with solutions.

Both of my children graduated from Memorial, 2013 and 2017. They had a great experience and are doing well in college. My daughter made dean's list last year which was her freshman year. My son is now attending graduate school at the University of Missouri.

If you have a choice.... don't do it.

We had heard that Memorial High was not a good school, and tried to enroll our child in a charter school. We did not end up getting into any of the charter schools, so we sent our son to Memorial and hoped for the best. We have had nothing but a great experience at Memorial. Our son is a part of the JROTC program and is excited to go to school on most days. The teachers and administration have been top-notch. I think that whatever bad reputation Memorial HS had will soon be forgotten if they keep up the excellent work. This school is highly recommended.

Our daughter started this year at Memorial. She is involved in many different activities as well as succeeding in all her AP classes. Several teachers are willing to help her after class and on the weekends. The students have shown nothing but courtesy toward us when we enter the school.

My son graduated in 2013 from Memorial and my daughter is in the class of 2017. My son's four years saw a turnover of 3 principals and every one better than before. He had a wonderful high school experience and my daughter is also having a great experience. I am glad that my children chose to apply and got accepted to go to Memorial.

The Engineering Academy at Memorial is nationally competitive. The basketball program there is one of the most respected in the state. MHS is a safe environment that gives you a slice of the real world. Honestly, you can get what you want out of this school or where you go. It is what you make of it. I am always helped in the office; I have no complaints and all good experiences. I have had one child graduate from Memorial and one attends there now.
