I attended Marshall Elementary School when I was a little girl. I finished all grades there. I was not able to attend the 6th grade because I had already signed up to a middle school, and that is where I am now. I am now going to start 8th grade this year of 2013. Marshall is a great school to let your children go to. They experience so many new things!! Honestly the teachers are fantastic. I absolutely loved this school!! I lived in South Glen Apartments, also another great place, so getting to school wasn't a trouble at all. I've heard that Marshall has changed a bit since I left, but it was the only elementary school I ever went to and I'm glad I went there.

This is the worst school ever. They have their own agenda and oftentimes it is not in the child's best interest.

My 4 year old son started the special ed program for a speech delay when he was 3. The teachers are the greatest and really care about the kids. The pricipal and office staff are very friendly and get to know the kids by name. Pick up and drop off is a nightmare which I find to be the only major downfall. Busses are limited probably due to the number of students living within walking distance. The good is when starting during the 2008-09 school year my son only spoke about 15 words. Within 3 months he was talking your ear off and continues to improve daily. He loves to go to school every day. Also, there are activities for parents and kids on a regular basis like movie nights and help for parents (learning english) which I think is very important.
