Based on both my experience in kindergarten registration process as well review from Deaf parent of KODA daughter now enrolled in high school. Met principal who made sure my son 's enrollment ease up with introduction and interpreter arrangement.

I strongly agree the school has a poor family friendly/single parent atmosphere. They have a policy on 'no siblings' and I do not believe this promotes a caring atmosphere for my child and it is not the vision I had for schooling my child. My children went to school here and I have never made a poor remark about any teacher - their policies are terrible and I will not return to the district and thankful my children will no longer be in this school for their future education. There are complete niche clicks in the community, I personally will never recommend.

the teachers are rude here. No one is helpful. My child is struggling and they never told me about it until the quarter was half over.

This school has a great PTO & parent volunteer base. The teachers care about the students & its obvious just by speaking with them. If you are looking for an elementary school in Troy for your children to attend that builds good character & values, this is a great choice.

I cannot wait for my children to get out of this school! Out of the five years my child attended Hook they only had 2 'acceptable' teachers. The principal, teacher and staff are all unacceptable.
