We have two children at Costello and we have had a great experience. One of my children has an IEP and she is receiving great support and there has been consistent communication regarding her progress and opportunities. My neurotypical child also thrives!! Every teacher we have had has made learning fun, exciting and challenging. I highly recommend this school.

Beware of the principal of this school; The leadership in this school is disorganized, unprofessional and does not held their teachers responsible. I agree with the review given in 2020 about the principal as she is pro-teacher not pro-parent! As a parent, I think my voice is not heard at this school at all. Whenever you talk to principal over an issue with a teacher or staff, she takes side of the teacher without even trying to listen to you. We have also been treated poorly with the administration in this school consistently. They change teachers a lot within a classroom, most of classrooms are oversized and as a result, teachers seem overwhelmed and unable to tend to all of the children adequately.

We have one child at Costello and have been welcomed into the community with open arms. The teachers and principal are enthusiastic and active, the parents and families are involved, and we're thrilled with how our child has progressed this year both academically and socially.

Very disappointed thus far. PTO/Principal are not as good as what we've experienced at other schools. They are very exclusive and self-serving, which does not line up with my family's values.

We have 2 kids attending Costello. Absolutely the best elementary school in the Troy School District!!!
