Good school if you want your child to be safe!Bad school if you don’t like strict and sometimes rude teachers.Special Education so so nice though! Miss Rice and Miss Phillips is so kind! So 4/5 Because of them!Lunch room and gym is the same place so gym can get DIRTY DIRTY so 2/5 on family Engagement.The food is good but can also give you stomach pain. so one off the Safety.The principal of the school is so strict! So 30% off the Social-emotional support The lunch ladies are so nice! If it is your birthday tell them! They sing you a song that goes like- “ This is your birthday song it isn’t very long! “ And gives you a lollipop after. So 1 more star on Family Engagement.Over all it comes up to you. I will say NO due to the strictness of the principal.

This school is the worst for bullying.

Was a good school when Mr. Ellis was the Principal. Over the years it has worsened, kids are being bullied and staff including principle don’t seem To take care of issues. It’s definitely time to move out of this district.

SVO (Parent-Teacher Organization) lacks any meaningful participation by parents. Families are heavily Iraqi-American and if that isn't your ethnicity you are effectively ostracized by the other parents/students. Staff is very welcoming. Not much in the way of extra-curricular activities that we have seen. Poor organization seems to be prevalent. Pickup and Dropoff is just a disaster as parents cannot seem to follow basic traffic signs/directions. Had we known about the school system we would have chosen to move elsewhere.

I love this school. I've gotten to know some of the staff, who are easy to communicate with and my son's teachers throughout the years. They have been easy to communicate with and have always addressed any concerns that I have.
