My student went here for 8th grade. School started in August and he started in November. He was given an art project that was given out in August and was due before Thanksgiving. He took the plank paper and the pastel chalk that were the size of a grape and produced a beautiful piece in a hour and 10 minutes, I wish I could post the picture so everyone could see how wrong it was to give him an F. I brought in the art teacher and Principal only to be told that grades don't really matter in Junior High? So I then told them to give him an A if it didn't matter, this school is horrible and the counselor's are a joke. I'm not sure why this school has not been made accountable for their poor test scores any many complaints made and please don't let me get started with the unprofessionalism at the front desk which also has many complaints.

So far, I am not a fan by far... The GATE teacher for 6th grade shows absolutely no enthusiasm, told the parents there is no outline or syllabus, and that she's "winging" the Science curriculum. The school is full of students and parents who do not value education. At the back to school night, the principal ended the night by announcing over the PA system that this concludes back to school night. Head to the gates and make your way home. The tone was not welcoming at all. I cannot wait to get my child out of this school.

This school is terrible. The teachers in MVMS seem to lack the skills to teach and the environment is awful. Whenever you walk through the hallways, you will catch a lot of cussing and drama. If this is the kind of school you want to enroll your child in, then you are making a huge mistake.
