I would definitely recommend Jefferson. It has experienced teachers and they take the time to go in depth into concepts. The principal is very understanding and does his absolute best to listen to each and every one of his students. This school is known for its rigor and continuously challenges it's students, building problem solving skills and more. The extracurriculars are very good as well, including math olympiad, science olympiad, and coding, to name a few. Overall, if you have to go to any school in the San Joquain county, JEFFERSON would be your #1 option.

This school pushes students to their absolute best. They always have good intentions and want to see their students rise high. The principal loves all his students and treats them equally. They also have many extracurriculars to stretch you mind like Science Olympiad, Math Olympiad and a Drone class (to name a few). I would definitely recommend this school as it has the highest average test scores in the entire district.

Bullying goes unaddressed. Principal is uniformed, biased and dishonest. There’s no diversity and they make no attempt to cultivate an inclusive culture at all. Lack of support services for kids being victimized by others. Office people are rude. A terrible country school in the country. Really sad.

I had the worst time here at this school. I would never go here again. The bullying problem here is insane.Everyone is just extremely toxic.Even with the bulldog project no one really cared about what they said. The people there would just continue harassing each other.

This school has many programs that speak out against many things and bring the best in their students. The staff is extremely nice and motivating. I would definitely recommend this school over others in the San Joaquin County.

This school is amazing. We purposely bought a home in this district just to go to this school. My daughter struggled at Jefferson academically. They really push their students to get them ready for high school. She is a bright girl and now that she is a sophmore in high school she is taking 4 IB classes. I attribute to part of her successful because of the tough material that Jefferson exposed her to, she and other Jefferson students are different from other kids in tracy high compare to those that did not go to Jefferson. You can see it on their attitude and definitely their grades. Highly recommend moving to this district.

First off, the new campus is awesome! The Jefferson District spared no expense in building it and bringing into 2016. Dr. Bridges (District Administrator) and Mrs. Wooten (Principal) are running a tight ship, that sticks to the roots of education in the United States. In addition to the fantastic academic emphasis, this school has a strict Physical Education requirement and an amazing Music Education program. My son has excelled in every academic category at this school. I would recommend and suggest this school to anyone with a grade 5-8 child.

If you want what's best for your child and you live in Tracy, the Jefferson School District is not for you. Compared to the other district schools in Tracy, they offer only a few electives during the middle school years, only a few food choices during lunch, and teach and put a high emphasis on outdated never to be used subject matters such as learning how to write cursive. Also they ask for a lot more donations and charities but their schools are old and small compared to the other schools Tracy has to offer. If you can send your child to a different school, it would be more worth the investment for the time you have to offer.
