My son started middle school at TCA and we are so happy with his progress so far. We felt he was getting lost in the large public school system and was not making friends. At TCA he is challenged academically and spiritually, and is making friends, especially through sports. We are happy with all he's learning and with the opportunities he has to make friends. He has also learned so much more about the bible and has grown in his faith!

My grandson is attending for the first year. It has only been six months but I have seen drastic changes in him. He enjoys going to school, is more confident in himself and his social skills have increased trifold. I am excited for him and his future at Torrington Christian Academy.Joe Percivalle

I don't have anything but wonderful things to say about TCA! My daughter has excelled since being here! The Educators and staff all have wonderful christian values, and truly care about each and every child acheiving their very best ! It's a wonderful faith based education/community that really treats everyone like family!

My students have been attending for several years and are about to enter TCA's high school next year! I am thankful to have found a school that has provided a strong educational foundation, alongside an emphasis on a relationship with God, with a focus on biblical values and principles. Not only have my students excelled academically, but spiritually, impacting a positive heart and mindset towards the world around them! Incredibly thankful to have found TCA!

A great school for academics and a Christian foundation. There are about 200 students, classes are sized nicely. Teachers are mostly kind and caring.

We enrolled my daughter into the Pre-K4 program and cannot be happier with the progress she has made in all aspects of her life. The curriculum is phenomenal and my daughter is beginning to write her name independently and can recognize a few words. I love that the classes are small and teachers can allocate 1:1 time with all of the kids. As parents, we take comfort in the fact that she isn't being taught additional things that we find inappropriate for a school to be teaching and that we are in control as to when the time is appropriate to have these discussions with our daughter. The communication the school has is phenomenal and we are never feeling like we are being shielded from important information. I cannot wait to see how she will flourish and thrive a she continues to attend TCA.

My family loves this school. It has been a great blessing to my granddaughter. The staff is thoughtful and very helpful in all aspects of her learning and growth. I love that the school and staff encourage the students to excel and do their best and are always there for them. TCA has provided the tools for my granddaughter to do her best and be her best self.

The only thing true about Torrington Christian Academy's name might be the Torrington part. The school has difficulty retaining students and is a revolving door of heartache. They impose a policy that they reserve the right to reject anyone at any time and for any reason, so even preschoolers are being turned away and given diagnoses by their staff who lack appropriate credentials or qualifications to be making these judgement calls. There is little accountability and a heavy controlling spirit. Focus is on money, fees and power, while at the same time they dodge legitimate concerns.

My wife and I are alumni and attended Torrington Christian Academy for many years. We played sports, made lifetime friends, and grew in our relationship with God. We now have two children that attend. The preschool program is great. Both of our children have attended the preschool and our youngest is currently in PreK 3. He tells us whenever he’s picked up that he had fun. Additionally, our kindergartener has had such a wonderful year. We are thrilled on how well he can read!! At TCA, we love that the academics are strong, that the teachers care so much about their students, and that the word of God/prayer is implemented in Chapel and in the classroom. Definitely recommend!!

My husband and I have two children that attend TCA. Our daughter is in second grade, and our son in pre-k. Our children love attending school here. They are both thriving and happy to go to school each day. The teachers and staff are friendly and want your child to succeed. Communication with teachers and staff is great. We are happy with our decision to send our children to TCA.

My wife and I are both very pleased with or choice 2 years ago to enroll our daughter. She absolutely loves it there, her class and teachers have been very friendly. We now have 2 children enrolled. The prek3 class has been very engaging and fun for our son. The staff is very informative and communicates very well. Very strong faith guided leadership in the administration as well as a solid curriculum with morality at its center. With the schools growing popularity, I expect many good years to come from TCA and we are happy to be a part of the school’s community.

My husband and I are very happy with the choice we made by sending our 2 daughters to Torrington Christian Academy. One main reason is there are no bad moral influences being taught by state mandated curriculum like in the public schools. What is taught at TCA is wholesome for young kids, and that is important for parents who care what their children are absorbing on a daily basis.The staff at TCA are amazing! They make the paperwork easy for us and the transition easy for our children.The school tour showed that the school was really clean and maintained.Our daughters are in 2nd and 4th grade and their teachers are great!! They respond to emails promptly, they are always willing to go above and beyond to help our daughters succeed. The classroom sizes are small enough for the children to easily grasp what is being taught. And they are learning cursive!!!!Pastor Clark teaches straight from the Bible principals.We highly recommend TCA to get your kids into a better spiritual and academic environment.

My daughter has been attending TCA for a few years and has shown herself to be the example that a Christian student should be, respectful, responsible, compassionate, and a leader by example. I can see the impact the staff and teachers at TCA have had in the short time she been attending there and know the things she's learning from attending there will stay with her for the rest of her life as she grows into a Godly woman.

Great School! The teachers truly love God and the students. They do a terrific job of teaching and encouraging each one. We are very pleased with the Leadership and what our daughter has learned / achieved over the past two years at TCA!

TCA was the right fit for our second grader this school year after coming from our local public school. Solid academics. Highlights are phonics, spelling, math, science, art. Safe, friendly, warm, nurturing environment with small class sizes. Faith is a priority. Great community. As a new student, he immediately fit in, made new friends, and gained confidence. This year gave him the solid foundation and the right environment we were looking for in the middle of a pandemic year.

My daughter transferred into this school last December and the transition went so smoothly. From the administration to the teacher. She has excelled and her teacher gives her specialized attention that she needed in certain subjects. She has truly grown here in a short time and we are excited to see what God does for next year.

We are thankful to have a local Christian school to send our children to. My husband and I attended and graduated from TCA and are grateful we get to send our children here as well. We’ve always appreciated the close-knit community that makes up TCA. We love that we know our children are loved, cared for, encouraged, safe, and spurred in their walk with Jesus.
