I have a middle-schooler attending Ambassador Christian School (formerly Ambassador High School) and he absolutely loves it. He benefits from smaller class size and getting to actually know his teachers well. The students, families, and faculty are all generally kind and enthusiastic. Kindness is a behavioral expectation of students and it shows. It's a very different experience than public schools which are, in my opinion, almost hostile to parent involvement. Here parent involvement is part of the deal. ACS is a gem and I'm so glad to have ACS in our lives.

After sending our son to large TUSD schools since kindergarten, we were a little apprehensive about switching to a small private high school. How will he adjust? Will he make friends? Will it be challenging enough academically? We could not be more pleased with our decision. Our son has really come into his own in the last two years and we attribute much of the credit to the amazing staff at Ambassador and the environment they foster among the student body. Just as an example, the school begins each year with an all school retreat. This allows students to meet and begin forming bonds that can develop into meaningful relationships even before classes officially start. Academically, the school provides an option to take college classes while attending high school. Our son has already successfully completed 8 college classes (appox. 24 units). All of which will be transferable should he go to a U.C. school. When in March 2020, COVID-19 caused all schools in California to shutter their doors, Ambassador didn't skip a beat. The Monday after the closure, my son was logging into his AP World History class at 7am to engage in discussion with his teacher and fellow students. The bell schedule didn't change. All his classes met as they had before. As parents, we were so relieved that with all the unknowns during the start of the pandemic, we didn't have to worry about our son's schooling. As we gear up to start the 20-21 school year, we are a little sad that our son's junior year will not begin in the beautiful new facility at SCROC next to Wilson Park. However, we are confident that although learning will be done "remotely", our son will not be left behind.

We are grateful for the Christian environment and high academic standards Ambassador High School has shown in its first four years. The student body is a family where great friends are made, teachers have time for students outside the classroom, Christ is honored and a focus on personal and academic excellence is encouraged. In addition, all students take college classes and can finish with an AA degree transferrable to all UC and CA state colleges. We look forward to its continued success. You will enjoy being a part of the Lion Family.

Students are put through rigorous academics with lots of individual support and mentoring from their teachers and school staff. You just don't get that kind of attention in other academic settings. The Harkness method and other cutting edge practices really ensure that students not only know the academic content but are well prepared to be successfull in higher education. My student has achieved more than he ever thought possible. As a parent I couldn't be more pleased.

Ambassador High is a great school. My son is almost done with his first year and I am amazed with their academics, the camaraderie among the students (as well as parents and teachers), the support given to the students by the staff, and so much more. Not only has my son grown academically, I am so happy that his teachers and coaches are also invested in building his character. In addition, I enjoy the fact that he gets to take college courses beginning in 9th grade. If you are looking for a strong school academically that is also committed to building Godly, responsible, servant-minded young leaders, then make sure to check out Ambassador High School.

Ambassador high school is the best!!! My son was very shy and now I see how he is so confident on himself. I love that it's a Christian school with great family values. I love that my son is doing high school And taking college classes at the same time. If you are looking for a great Christian high school for your kid, Ambassador is the way to go. Teachers and staff are wonderful.

Ambassador has been a great school for my child. He transferred from a public high school and easily transitioned into Ambassador. The students, teachers and staff are all so welcoming and inclusive. The small class sizes and discussion based learning encourages students to collaborate with one another, while providing an environment for each student to present his/her point of view. The class offering, especially honor level and AP classes, provides excellent academics. At Ambassador High, the teachers and staff really know and care about each student.

Ambassador High is wonderful! My children have thrived here in every way. They are challenged academically, even earning college credits. They have developed a faith that is their own, and have learned to serve in their local community and also in Mexico. Their social life is great too! The other students are all friendly and accepting of one another. The staff put the student’s needs first and provides support and care for each student every day.

Ambassador High is an amazing school that provides their students with a great education as well as Christ centered life skills that their students will use in their future. The academics are challenging but the educators provide numerous opportunities for students to come to them if they need help. Dr Barker is involved in the students lives and provides opportunities for all students to shine in their own way. He pushes them to find their individual likes and dislikes so as to plan a path for their future endeavors. This school has instilled confidence in each one of my 3 children. I am so grateful for Ambassador High School ~ a school and staff that genuinely cares about each and every student.

I am a senior at Ambassador this year and will be graduating this month. I could not be more happy with my high school experience at this wonderful school. The teachers are wonderful, the staff is lovely, and every student is kind and ready to be your friend. I have received an enriching (and challenging) education and countless opportunities to get involved. Both of these benefits have helped me get into my dream school: NYU! Not only am I getting the opportunity to attend this prestigious university, but I will be graduating early due to the credits I have gained at Ambassador. I will be forever grateful to AHS for everything it has blessed me with, now ready to take the world by storm with the assurance that God is by my side.

This school has an Early College program which allows my son to take college courses. They also have mentors which made a huge difference for my son. He is also taking three AP courses. He has done really well and we love the school.

Ambassador High School is truly amazing. The staff and faculty care about the students so much and show God's love to them everyday. The students support each other and are always encouraging and praying for each other. Students take college courses on campus and can earn their AA when they graduate! I could go on and on about how much I love this school.

This is an amazing school. Not only does it prepare students for a successful experience in college, but it allows them to progress rapidly in their education, while still allowing them to participate in sports and other extracurriculars. Excellent teachers, all strong Christians. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I couldn't be happier with this school. Ambassador has a wonderful and dedicated principal, Dr. Barker, and a teaching and office staff that know each child. My son is thriving in his second year there, enjoying being actively involved in sports and college prep courses. I HIGHLY recommend Ambassador to everyone I know who is looking for an excellent, well rounded education for their high schooler.
