School does the job. Could be better in some places, but not the worst. Sports aren't the greatest due to lack of kids wanting to join or having passing grades to join. Overall about a 3.7

I feel this way because i have called many times with my concerns about my son having a hard time in school being pick at but when he no longer can take it and blows up its a big deal i grow up going to taylor schools and i cant believe how bad they have become its sad i am at the point of home schooling the rest of the year we tell our kids to go and talk to the teacher if they are having problems with other kids or work but the teachers act like the cant see things that are happening right in there faces i would not tell no parent to send there kids to this school.

Im a student at Hoover and overall its ok. There are lots of problems with it too. Like the dress code. It is way too strict. If we have even the tiniest of holes in our jeans we have to call home to get a parent to bring us a new pair. If we dont have a parent at home then we stay in the computer lab all day and do our work there, only if they dont have a pair of pants your size. And then there are the Teachers. They do not discipline properly. I sit in my sixth hour class and get nothing done because everyone is doing something other then the assignment. I cant hear over them, so that means I cant hear the teacher giving directions, and this is only one class. And then lastly there are the students. Most of them goof off. They bully other students, and once again, dont get disciplined. It makes me mad that the good students drown because the bad ones grab on and dont let go. But I do have to admit the school has a few good things to make up for it. Im in chorus and its really fun! I loved going to competition and performing for my school and my parents. It also has lots of activitys to do. Im in the 8th grade and I will not be here next year. Its my M.S. and I`ll miss it :(.
