    Coming new into the district I have been AMAZED at the quality of education my children have received. The teachers are engaged and actively communicate with the families on a regular basis. Administration is present and the level of community support the district provides to the families is outstanding. There are so many extra curricular events and fun opportunities inside the school that I haven’t witnessed before. They even have a therapy dog for extra emotional support. Can’t say enough positive things about Highland Elementary!

    Our experience was so bad we switched to another school within the District. It is still so bad we are now looking at other schools for our children.

    Great school! Wonderful teachers and principal. Can't say enough for Principal Mark Pugh. Principal Pugh makes it a priority to know all the students by name, is active in all the school activities, and communicates with the parents. Drop-off now works like a well oiled machine all due to Principal Pugh.
