We had a great three years at this school and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I am sad that my children's time here is over. Farewell! Teachers and Staff, you did a fantastic job! Classmates, I will miss your sweet little faces and I know my children miss you too.

would rate this school 0 stars, if it were possible. Be very careful when selecting private schools in the area. We recently took a tour and was not impressed; with the Director or the odd greeting we received. After the tour, we researched the school a little more and found multiple discrepensies reported by Child Services. Some stating that properly trained employees were not being hired, improper supervision, cleanliness of restrooms. Not to mention how can a teacher have a Psychology Degree, but be an active teacher without the proper credentials? Lastly, we reviewed the curriculum and found that many students are being charged a material fee and curriculum fee. When looking we saw many outdated books. Basically we would be paying full price for new materials, only to be given the outdated books? No thank you. I am very content that we did our research and avoided this "private school" at all costs. Also, please make sure the curriculum is that of SC state requirements.

We are military so my children have been to several different preschools in the last couple of years and by far St. James has been the most accommodating to my children s needs as well as very reasonably priced compared to the other private schools around the area. We were so fortunate to have found St. James when we did! My children originally attended the summer program and LOVED learning and exploring fun topics every week, that they begged to attend the regular school year! Mrs. Mullennax is the director and her care, attention, and love to all the children clearly resonates with the kids, and by extension the parents, who are lucky enough to have their kids enrolled at St. James. We owe so much to St. James for instilling tolerance, structure, respect and love into our children. It breaks my heart that we will be moving away after this school year, but will always be grateful for the love and care that each teacher that we came in contact with bestowed upon my family. I would highly recommend the school as well as the church to all! What a blessing it has been to be apart of this church and school family.
