The teachers teach most people that are determined also they are very nice (most of them) but many kids don’t care about learning or will put very little to no effort in work, many kids have very low grades because they don’t really try (1-50’s yes many people have these low of grades). I was bullied, given death threats, and threatened to be jumped by others for being Asian and Administrators will see it but just turn around and walk away or just pretend they hear and see nothing. There has been a fight almost every week or month I’ve heard people talking about taking drugs and sharing pills and also I’ve seen people vaping in the middle of class and on the bus. Also many kids get sent to in school suspension (ISS) and over 3 people have been expelled this year. In the end, the teachers are nice and will teach but most of the kids won’t want to learn and have behavioral problems.Thank you for listening to my rant about how the school is - anonymous

Despite what the data shows, ADM is a very good school. All three of my children either have or are attending there. They have learned a lot from their teachers and although it is not perfect they have enjoyed their time there.

We are a military family. Between my 3 boys we have been in 12 different school districts across the USA. I have to say that our experience at ADMS has been one of the best and Mrs. Pressley has been the best principle we have encountered. She made sure my son had a challenging schedule. Mr. Wells was also the best band directer we have ever had. My son went to one of the private schools in Sumter last year and I actually payed to watch his self esteem plummet. After just 2 months at ADMS, my son was back to his happy-go-lucky self.

We're a military family and I must say that my children have adjusted very well at Alice Drive Middle School. The staff has been more than accommodating to all of our needs/concerns. If you're looking for a school where academics is stressed and has a warm friendly atmosphere where kids can learn and be comfortable....Alice Drive Middle School is the place!
