The school is fine but they did not do a good job of bulling. There are a lot of toxic kids. And I was a student in this school and the principle just doesn't care about anything except giving out suspensions on the kid was bullied and did not care about any detail about what I give him. Also alot of teacher want to quit. So just don't go to this school.

It is a great experience so far, teachers are concerned about your grades and do their very best, and that is all that matters. This school should be rated at least and 8/10

Summit Middle School is a great school with fantastic teachers. They do a good job of transitioning the kids from elementary school into middle school, as well as, do a very good job of preparing the kids for high school.

I love this school. Great curriculum. Nice teachers. I loved how everyone gets involved. Stokes is a great thing for the students. They get to know one another. Great idea. I personally think that every child should have a school with such caring and nice staff, like LCJSMS

I had 3 sons attend this school at different times. And all 3 sons were relieved when they graduated. The rating this school currently obviously does not take into account the many instances my child/ren has/ve been mistreated by other students. The school does a very good job of reporting what they find but it does not reflect the truth. After numerous occasions where a child mistreated one of my sons; he found himself afraid to go to school and wait out front in the morning, eating alone at lunch, teased in class when the teacher wasn't aware, and his only solace was when the final bell rang to go home. This went on for 3 years. He was traumatized to say the least. Then, just 2 days before the last day of school ending his final year at this school, another student physically assaults while in class. This was caught on video, thankfully. But what could possibly be done? School was just about over. Shockingly, we receive a letter in the mail from the Superintendent of NJ Schools stating that a SO CALLED investigation was conducted at some point and no account of "Bullying" was found. Outrageous. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL if at all possible. If not, GOD be with you.

The transition into a new town was hard enough, but joining the middle school as a senior could have been much more challenging. The leadership at LC Johnson Summit Middle School made a world of a difference in my child s transition. Leading to the beginning of the school year, the invitation for new incoming parents was equally important for parents and children transferring to meet and great others that were also transitioning. On that day my child met the first friend, and on the first day of school they had each other to confine in. The curriculum which encourages given back to the community made it possible for more opportunity for incoming students to acclimate to the new community. The partnership between school and parents working together to prepare our children foster a great environment of learning. Although short, my child experience at LC Jonson has been as good as to be expected.
