We’ve had a wonderful experience with Plumbrook Elementary this year! We moved from another school district and into UCS at the beginning of this year, and this year in UCS has been great, and we’re so glad to be apart of UCS! The new principal who also joined this year is absolutely wonderful and our daughter lover her. The new superintendent has done so much for UCS and is wonderful as well! Our 5th grader has never been so engaged and excited for school before. Her teacher Mrs. Pacifico is by far our favorite teacher our daughter has ever had. She is wonderful with communicating and keeping us informed and was very attentive to our daughter’s needs especially with being at a completely new school and district! The school did an amazing job helping our daughter reach her academic goals as well as all the goals for speech therapy. If there was ever a problem or something that needed to be addressed and worked on, we were also informed of that too. We loved how seriously safety and bullying was taken too. Any unkind words or problems between students were immediately addressed as soon as an adult was notified of a problem. It feels comforting that this school actually does things to solve and prevent any further problems or bullying between students. There were many opportunities for families and parents to be involved and participate in school events and outside school events for the kids to have fun and for the parents to meet one another too!

For the teaching is good not to bad but for the self emotion I don’t they care so much and they don’t punish the kids who bully my son at all and they don’t care about this thing beside that for the safety I would give them zero point because I dropped my son at the front office so he could go faster to the class he has only 2 minutes left but who ever was in the from told him you still can walk to your class and she let him go but as soon as he walked to there the class was close and she didn’t let him in and I wasn’t with him they left my son outside alone and my friend called to tell me my son is outside I had to come back for him and when I was telling the front office about what happened they didn’t gave me any attention and they were so rude they are not professional at all they have a bad behaviour and attitude and they are not responsible at all

This school is not the best school at all, my son has been going through very harsh bullying ever sense he has been at this school, nobody has done much accept a few talks with the bullies. It is making me angry that every day I come home, and my son is in a bad mood from school.

This school did almost nothing to accommodate my son's physical disability. He fell behind even though before and after this school he has always been an A/B student. He's in high school now and the couple years he spent here were his worst.

The school staff, teachers, and the principle are rude, unhelpful, and uncaring. I loved the school before then they changed principles, and everything went down hill. I am getting ready to pull the kids out, and go to a different school.

The PEP group is fantastic. They provide many off-site and on-site activities for students and families to participate in. My experience started off good. A couple years later, we are looking to move into a different district. We are looking for a district that cares about the well-being of the students along with the staff/faculty.

I have 2 children who attend Plumbrook Elementary and we have had only positive experiences there. I feel that my children are getting a great education, and they have had wonderful, hard-working teachers. The school has a friendly, caring atmosphere. The parent group is amazing and plans many special activities and events for the students.

My child went here as school of choice for 2 years because I thought it would be a better choice than my home district -- I was wrong. The staff is very cold, they did not provide the accommodations that my child needed, did not give me all of the information about choices for my child (which I did not find out until long after we were gone from the school. And I only found out from another school district) one of my son's teachers was VERY mean, and the whole time I felt like we were being pushed out. He could have stayed another year but it was "strongly suggested" that he transfer to another school, and I completely agree. My child is very well-behaved and never gets in trouble, so that wasn't the issue. I felt like we weren't given the consideration other parents were because we are from a "poorer" district (to be fair it may have been something else, but I see no difference other than this). So this school is probably a good one as long as you live in the district, if you're school of choice then go somewhere else.

Plumbrook is awesome - I have 4 kids - 2 of which are at Plumbrook and have academic and social issues. Although at times it can be trying I can not be thankful for all the love and support that everyone from the top to the bottom have for my kids. This school is awesome, awesome, awesome and thankful for it being our school!

Plumbrook is a great school , all the staff do care about every child that attends this school and takes time for each and every child. The principal mrs papastamatis was the best choice they made , every Teacher starting from Kindergarten is truly Amazing , the staff works together as a team and thats why everything in plumbrook is run smooth this is the Best School ever

Plumbrook Elementary has been a wonderful school for our son! He loves school and looks forward to going every day. The teachers are amazing, so kind and friendly, and go out of their way to help their students' achieve. I'm sorry a few have had a bad experience but I don't see it and I am there often! I am school of choice so we picked Plumbrook out of many school tours, don't let a few negative people dissuade you from a wonderful school!

This school has been an amazing experience for my two children who attend there. I usually don't leave reviews on the internet but felt in lieu of some terribly negative comments about this school I should speak up. The New Principal goes out of her to implement new policies to help the student body in any way she can. She is accessible, kind, and you can always find her outside the school in the morning directing traffic, inside visiting with the students, or in the office meeting with parents and children. The teachers my kids have had are amazing. My child has had issues at every other school he attended but not here at Plumbrook. They are able to give him the assistance he requires to be accepted and a successful student. This school has students with all different physical needs and incorporates all students into being united and accepted. They are quick to deal with any type defiant behavior and resolve the issues between the children with civility. I have never been at a school where the children were so accepting of each other. It has been a great experience and we are so glad our children attend this school.

Very bad school ,I did explained last year about this school in this website,and now I don't see my old reviews,it looks like been flagged to cover the truth about this school ,All the story was they make differences between the students ,I do have three kids in this school and always they been blamed even if they didn't do anything,plus my kids couldn't make any friends ,because of no one give any chances for them all these years ,time to move them to better school to save their future.plus I agree with other review when it said :( This school is setting the standard to produce defiant and/or delinquent children ),plus most the students parents make rumors on other kids.to make a bad picture on that kid ,just because their kids don't like the other innocent kid or if it's that student from different culture .
