Some classes like Mrs. M’s (I won’t say her full name) ancient history class is great and very engaging and Mr. S’ science class is also great and very fun. Other teachers (that I won’t mention) are not as good and engaging. I reported a case of bullying and they did something about it and it stopped but they didn’t do the same for my friends. The safety is not great at all. They let anyone walk in in the morning. But there are some protection put in place. The school isn’t good but you can push through it. I’m almost done with it!

I am a student the enrolled in Bemis Junior High. This school has been the worst to me. I was bullied every day without anyone there to support me. The staff is really mean and cruel to the students. I addressed multiple situations to the principal and assistant principal and left feeling like I just wasted my time, and I was not heard. Multiple situations with extreme behavior occur at this school. Some kids brought real weapons into the school such as guns, knives, and some people made threats such as a bomb or to put people in pain. The staff was very rude to my parents as well. Do not ever go here.

It's stressful and teachers are biased towards everyone.

Lots of bullying in the the school and harassment. Staff does not do much for situations of bullying /harassment. Some teachers were ok but others were crazy. This one situation was that my friend was in a lot of pain and the teacher treated her like a crazy person/criminal. teachers I've had would force beliefs on children. Including others kids doing the same thing. The punishment for not having an id or being tardy is very strict and gets more strict over times. Not a lot of freedom.

Bro, what is this? school fights happened at least 20 times or even more last year. I can't even keep track of the homework's I have and in elementary school, I was an all A student but when I came here my grade dropped down to a B+. some of the students are okay but some just bully each other even your own friends will bully you for no reason at all. someone got bullied by his own friend just for having a crush on his girlfriend and he didn't even know his crush was his friend's girlfriend. LIKE WHAT!?!?! And I even told the counselor about some girl that was bullying me, and they said that they will deal with it and next thing you know I get in trouble because they didn't believe me and told me that I was bullying her when I wasn't that's just so stupid. I would not recommend this school to you. But most of all the school lunch tastes REALLY good.

I became a 7th grade student in this school in the middle of the year, and I will have to say this school has teared me down. Some teachers are kind and some aren’t. The student are the worse, I can’t walk into class without feeling judged or embarrassed. Imagine being black walking into a school with a whole bunch of white students. At my old school I was in honors English, so they put me in accelerated English and I hated it SO MUCH. It wasn’t the teacher that I hated it was the way they taught and everything else. I hated it so much that it made me not like English no more. I felt like I wasn’t good at it, even know I was. Every day walking into that class made me nervous. On my first day of school there was a fight outside of my school bus. I thought it was just a one time thing, but there was fights every week. I always heard mean snarky comments behind my back, and I just ignored them. Then I realized this is not how I want to be treated are feel every day in school. So, in my opinion this is the worst school to send your child and I hope nobody has to go through what I had to go through. Walking through hallways feeling like you don’t belong is the worst feeling ever!

Horrible, When consulting the principal with issue's we claims he will take care of things and nothing was ever done, like other comments sweep it under the rug

Horrible. I wish i never placed my children at this school. Thank goodness it’s only 2 years. Nothing more than a processing weigh station to get them to high school. All the while being bullied on the way. I do not recommend this school

This school is terrible, as an 8th grader i get flooded with homework. And there seems to be fights all the time. Most teachers are nice but some are just plain mean and seem not to care about the students at all.

Not impressed. Just seems to be a middle ground, a pergatory of sorts between grade school and high school. Lack of creativity, activities and sports. Very bleak and blah looking inside. Many fights and shady kids when my sons went. Luckily, not my kids, but ugh. My 3rd son will not go here when he leaves grade school. Trying for Shelby Jr High unstead.

My sisters and brothers, my wife, and myself have all attended this school. Now my son does. He hates it. The Chaldean students are bullies and are too cowardly to fight their own battles. They are disrespectful to other students and create problems, and if a kid tries to stand up for himself, they bring in ten of their cousins. The kids are afraid to say anything out of fear. The school has ZERO control over it. Some of the students come from families with criminal backgrounds. There is no screening because it is a public school. Things have changed since I went there. As soon as all of these Chaldean students started coming in, the problems began. The parents may be nice, but the kids are rotten. Absolutely rotten. I highly recommend you consider other schools unless you want your kids being bullied by degenerates!

My son attended Graebner/Bemis/Henry Ford II. He had a great experience and loved his teachers and schools. Two years ago, he started at the University of Michigan with enough credits to be a sophomore because of his strong ACT and AP background. I can't say enough good things about these school and UCS.

This is a horrible school, my daughter was bullied for the whole year and the counselor knew about the whole deal but never brought it to my attention. Now she is dealing with anxiety and depression for the past year. Trust me, its a bad school all the way.......
