This school is a very nice school. While it is still a school and kids will always hate going, think that it is a good public school for your kids. Most teachers are very nice and will help you with anything you need.

Horrible, my friends are shamed for their body, race and sexuality every day and they don’t do anything about it. Teachers cannot teach effectively, everyone gets bad grades, sports are bad. Never come here.

Enduring Davis was a living nightmare, so much so that simply passing by the main entrance today gives me chilling flashbacks. I attended this school from 2009 to 2012, and the majority of the staff was incredibly dehumanizing to me when I first got there. It twisted my mind as an individual to a point where I became as evil as them, and it wasn't until some time after my graduation that I would finally start to normalize myself. The environment there was all around oppressive; while it didn't have metal detectors and police officers everywhere as far as I could tell, it sure had ways of telling students they are at the very bottom of the social hierarchy and are not allowed to question or negotiate anything. Get a load of this: there are a couple of rooms behind the main office that are referred to as "white rooms". They are exactly that; white walls, white floor, a desk and chair, a restroom, and total isolation from everything. The assistant principal and teachers frequently escorted many students, including myself, to a white room for whatever reason they could come up with, including not following a specific direction for an art project that was my idea in the first place. Sometimes I would do nothing but try to sleep on the desk in the hopes that I'd pass enough time by to finally go home. The worst case of all was one student who said one swear word, just ONE. He was thrown in the white room for the ENTIRE day, from the first few minutes of the first hour to the tail end of the sixth. To this day I still wish I hadn't confirmed what he said to the staff, having stood next to him when he spoke the unspeakable. We were all despised, being viewed as all the same, boogeymen who relished in negative influences that keep adolescents entertained, including those that are completely harmless coping mechanisms like listening to music, watching videos, talking to friends, and playing video games. If you feel a sense of inferiority as you're dragged through this school, know that you're not alone. Public schools are not about education, they're about putting kids in line. A new educational system that actually encourages individual ambitions needs to replace what we have now.

The years I spent at Davis were some of the worst years of my life. I was bullied beyond belief... at my locker, at lunch and yes, even in band class. I hope things have changed for the next generation because those traumatizing experiences have stuck with me for years.

The school is poorly ran and is incredibly irresponsible, none of the teachers give out any assignments, and the other students are a terrible influence on my son, I don't regret to say this will be my son's first and last year of davis

My daughter just started at this school and I have been very impressed. Mr. Bernier really cares about the kids and academics and the possibility for advanced classes and extra help and simply outstanding.
