I am a teacher and also have a child who attends this school. I have been able to experience this school on both sides and I can say that I am proud both ways. I am very happy to work here- it’s a place I am happy to come into everyday. As a teacher, I feel safe, supported, and valued amongst my administration and peers. I also feel my child is so loved when she is here and is receiving a great education.

this school is absolutely horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!No communication whatsoever, Now with this new principle it's absolutely the worst! More concerned about how cute the school looks rather Than focusing on important things like raising the grade levels Throughout , BULLYING, COMMUNICATION Ect......Half of the time kids can't ride the busses cause they are broke down. Bullying is huge here and when Brought to Teachers/ principle attention nothing is done!!!!And if your a type of parent that Advocates for your child they will fight you on everything and basically keep making school more Difficult for your little one Almost like they are doing it out of spite. 10/10 would NOT recommend this school! If your are looking for a great elementary school Locust Elementary School has went above and beyond for my child and has put more Emotional, Educational and loving support than stanfield could ever

My oldest child attended Stanfield Elementary from 2019-2022 (attending another elementary school in our district prior to that), and my middle child has attended since kindergarten in 2021. Both of my children have been blessed with academic success (always making good grades), but have struggled behaviorally at times (not following rules, talking too much, acting up, etc.)—nothing major, but enough that they have had visits to the principal’s office & other consequences. I feel like I am a pretty discerning person, with fairly high standards for my children’s education, teachers, and school. All of this to say—I truly feel Stanfield Elementary is an AMAZING school with a “community” feel. I have always felt that Stanfield has had great support from administration, teachers, staff, other parents, and the PTO. In my experience, everyone involved with Stanfield cares about the students & their success. All of this has only gotten better with the current principal (Mrs. Merritt)—I cannot say enough good things about her & her direction, encouragement, and love for our students & school. There’s really not much else to say—we love Stanfield Elementary!

We moved from NJ 2 school years ago and the staff made the transition a great experience. The staff is loving, caring and passionate about their job. My son is always excited to go to school.

We have had an amazing experience at Stanfield. The entire team from support staff to teachers and principal have a vested info in all the students and their families. The school community is very involved and have made huge improvements over the past several years. We are so happy to be a Wildcat Family!

I love Stanfield Elementary School because all five of my kids have went there and it has been a great school for them. I will miss the wonderful teachers and the staff here. Four of them have graduated from West Stanly High School. My youngest child is in kindergarten now and will not have the pleasure of staying with this school. His two teachers were wonderful because they were so good to him. They raced with him to drink his milk and called me anytime he was sick or got hurt. There will never be a better school than this one.

My grandson will attend kindergarten in the fall. As a retired teacher myself, I thought it was a fantastic idea to have "camp" for these little guys. The first days of school should be a breeze for them. Keep up the great work
