    Our family moved from across town, our daughter just went into 2nd grade at Riverbend. School just started last week, this week I had a chance to observe the Principal talk to the dad's about being more involved with the school and community to help strengthen both. I am pleased with the effort that was shown, time will tell how this school compares to the last school, which was very good.

    Moved from cottage grove and transferd into river bend 2nd grade im graduated now but i had the most fun there, after school activities were wonderful including the valintines dance that they changed to prize winning bingo and even though they lost immunization paperwork once on me they never lost the paper work on my 3 younger sibling!! they are wonderful and i love going back and visiting the supportive teachers i had

    Worst school ever! Every night my kids would come home not knowing how exactly to do their homework, and when trying to talk with one of the teachers about it, she said "he should have been listening." and that was that. no extra attention for anyone, and when some boy was picking on my little girl and pulling her hair during a school concert, the teacher just said, "good job at being a tough girl." no reprocussions or talks for the other offending little boy. It seems like they just dont care AT ALL about anything. LOST OUR PAPERWORK AND IMMUNIZATION INFO THREE TIMES!!!!

    teacher communication and encouragement of parent involvement has been very impressive. Staff has wonderful communication
