If you’re a single parent of color this is not the school for your child. The principal went out of her way to only notify my sons white mother anytime he had behavioral issues and even interjected in our court battle to testify on her behalf for some reason rather than being a neutral party. The school has also had to go on lockdown over a potential stabbing and I as a parent wasn’t even notified of this. There are definitely safer and less discriminatory elementary schools in the area where your child can be safe and the principal won’t actively interject to keep your child away from you.

All the staff really care about the students success. They have a pre-k program and after school activities. My kid learned how to read in kindergarten. I highly recommend Maple Elementary.

Nice newer building protrays a great school, when in fact it is one of the worst schools my children have attended! Never judge a book buy it's cover!!!

This school is awful! The principal is by far the worst our kids have ever had (we are a military family and our kids have gone to many schools).

My second year at the school. I have found the teachers to be great. The parents and community are great, their is an amazing amount of family participation at events, even the teachers are involved...
