I was a student here, although I’ve graduated High school a couple years ago I struggle to grasp what this school put me through as a child. It honestly breaks my heart. If your child has any learning disabilities I do not recommend this school.

This school is horrible. Horrible staff, teachers getting arrested from this school is very common, I was here 2016-2019 and since then i think 3? of my former teachers have been ARRESTED. Not to mention they do not try to HELP students, rather just punish them. Students constantly have drama and the office gets pulled into it, they do nothing but have the girls argue in their office trying to “sort things out” and when that OBVIOUSLY won’t work they throw around suspensions and lunch detentions like it’s nothing. It’s almost like teachers love to argue with literal kids at this school. They offer no help or support. Constant Punish. This isn’t all teachers i suppose; mainly the office staff. I recommend transferring to any other school.

So far a 0 as he was dong great at the Arts Academy and now at Briggs they say he may not graduate to high school. I feel if he does not it is the schools fault. He says he liked school at the Arts Academy but now he hates school so much he wants to quit. We just can't let him. I am so sad that this goes on in schools and the schools blame the student and the schools make a bad student out of learning disability

I had a couple of issues, but overall I had a terrific experience at Briggs. My son also enjoyed his 1st year there. (As much as a 6th grader can enjoy school anyways...) The principal and vice principal are involved and dedicated. And the teachers my son had seemed to follow suit. Safety is a top priority! Which is huge in today's world! If I had to rate it, I'd give the school 9/10.

I attend Briggs Middle School and the teachers are amazing. There are many great opportunities to participate in academic programs such as Battle of the Books and Brain Bowl. I enjoy attending and being in this school and its wonderful atmosphere.
