Mrs. Ruther is the worst principal ever and I would like to tell you why. The first reason why Mrs. Ruther is the worst principal ever because she makes the worst rules ever, for example, this year she is making us 7th and 8th graders be dismissed by table to throw away our trash. As an 8th grader I don't think I need to be told when I need to throw my trash away I believe I'm responsible enough for that. Another thing that makes school miserable is that since one kid listened to explicit music now everyone is not allowed to listen to music.

Junior High is a difficult for most kids, but we found the staff and teachers at SJH knew how to handle the ups and downs these years bring.

SJHS is a wonderful, loving school committed to the students. When I think of SJHS, I think of my classmate, Suraj Maloth, who passed away during my 7th grade year. The school honored his memory and both teachers and students came together to support one another during such a hard time. The teachers truly care about the students. The students care about the other students. The students care about the teachers. The administration cares about the students and teachers. Wonderful district! Wonderful school! A loving community for students to "find themselves" during the tough times associated with Jr. High. -Proud Alumna & future teacher Class of 2013

Worst sportsmanship I've ever experienced...at a 7th grade girls' basketball game. Someone should teach these kids some respect. Disgusted!

There has been talk that art and band will be cancelled at this school. My son struggles, so if your student isn't a higher functioning student or a friend of the teachers (very clique-ish area) this is a difficult school to be involved with. I strongly recommend Beavercreek or Oakwood again. There school scores are very strong as well and they participate with the military liaison at WPAFB. Springboro doesn't take federal funding for military/civilians or have a working relationship with the base liaison from everything I've check into. The principals at the middle and high school had no idea what a military liaison was when I asked.
