Bishop Fenwick moved years ago to Franklin. My son goes there currently and he really likes the teacher and the opportunities the smaller school provides. The low student teacher ratio allowed him to be more interactive with teachers.

This school is unprofessional and has a toxic environment. The students are extremely cliquey and uninviting. Racism, sexism, homophobia, and sexual harassment is normal and accepted. The staff doesn't care about making a change. This school provides a terrible experience and is a complete waste of money. You're better off going to a public school.

I had high hopes for this school but unfortunately the principal and assistant principal turn the other way when issues arise and try to sweep everything under the rug. The Athletic Director is a joke and needs to be replaced. 75% of the coaches could care less if you win or loose. Many kids feel ostracized and can’t speak up for fear of retaliation from the administration. Open forums have been started about this school and then taken down because kids are scared to actually say how they feel about going there. Racism is the norm and if you want your child to succeed you should look to enroll elsewhere. Overall, worst experience, waste of money. I can’t believe the archdiocese continues to allow this school to stay open.

Honestly the BEST school environment in the city. Great teachers, very understanding staff, could not be happier.

Fenwick has the ingredients to be a very good school. The main issues are with the Administration and Teachers. Unfortunately, it has been a revolving door every year with new leadership and poor teachers. The facility is very nice but needs a better Theater program and Athletic Locker rooms. The Students are above average intellectually and the teachers struggle to recognize and tend to not be at the level a parent would expect. The Athletic Coaches have been disappointing. The few who are good are not paid at the level they deserve and then leave for better situations. The School is having financial problems and tuition and fees have gone up dramatically over the last 5 years. The school leadership does a terrible job helping students transitioning to College. They go through the motions but very little substance. Many parents are disappointed in the Administration, Athletic Director and Teachers. I would caution Parents to do their research and check into other private schools that will be a much better investment in your child's education. There are some positives but the negatives far outweigh the benefits.
