i have 2 kids in Gerke and i love this school!!! my son has been here since 1st grade and he has done great!!! the teachers have all been so good! he has ADHD and they work very well with him!! and my daughter is in 2nd grade and we both love the school! all the teachers we have worked with have been wonderful! and they really care about my kids! i dont want to move out of this school district!!!!

I find this school completely lacking, after the worst parent teacher conference I had ever had for my 6th grade son( so I have been to a few). At the conference the teachers admitted they call my son names, he is terrible in class and shows no respect . The teacher said to my face she would be a B if she had to be my son has told me she curses in class before, and I thought to myself he was mistaken after the conference I am sure he was not. I never received a call or any letter email nothing about his behavior, maybe the teachers were scared their own behavior would then be called to light. The communication between teachers and parents is well there isn t any. I asked the teachers to call any time I am always available, they said they don t have time to follow up with everyone. I have a daughter in a lower grade whom doesn t complain yet school is always okay. I haven t had her conference yet that s tomorrow.
