This school leadership is horrible. Moving my child from this school was the best thing I could ever do

Great school that cares about the students and is great part of the community.

It seems like the teachers are not held accountable for their students' performance. A little birdy that was a part of the teacher staff said the teachers' attitude was that when a child had a problem, it was easier to do nothing. Take it for what it is worth, but look at the academic scores and there looks to be truth to that statement. The teachers struggled with computers and how to zoom at the start of the pandemic. It is not a difficult process. At the start of the pandemic, there was a lot of disorganization. They are professional teachers and struggled. I am a parent and could have held a better instructional experience than the teachers that have a degree in teaching. Their performance through COVID was poor. They played the "these are crazy times and not normal card" the whole time. The students suffered and they got their time off/work from home time. The kids are going back to school "5 days a week" but the teachers need a half day on Mondays to prepare for the week. How lame is that?"The prisoners are running the asylum." "The teachers are running the school." The district and principal is not. The principal is on his first year, so he will have to learn through experience. Changing a culture will be difficult for him and until then, the students suffer. Stay away from this school and U46.

Clinton is a MUCH finer elementary school than this website indicates, why I don't know. My child has been there three years, I have volunteered there for two years and have 1st hand experience at watching the quality teaching and supervision that Clinton provides. Teachers and principal are fantastic and my child has excelled from they're hard work.

This is a wonderful school, teaching staff and principal. I have volunteered for two years, I have seen it 1st hand and up close. My son loves it and so do I.

Teachers here are very good with the children. I`m so proud of the high test scores. And as a group the test scores prove the teachers are doing a great job here at Clinton.
