All 3 of my kids attended Anderson and I know many of the staff and teachers well. They are some of the most caring and compassionate people you will ever meet! The kids are supported well academically and emotionally. The office staff is exceptional and very personable. The principal deeply cares for students and families. You won’t find a better elementary school!

We love Anderson Elementary, they host monthly family nights and make learning fun for thier students. My Kindergartner and 2nd grader look forward to school every year.

Actively looking for a new district for my child to go into. No Communication if anything happens to your kid, they do nothing about bullying or actually keeping the children from being bullies, having a child tell another child not to hit them with nothing being done as punishment does not work at 5-7yrs old, classes focusing to much on computer work and having the computers teach the children now, if i wanted that, I could just use the apps I've downloaded for my child over the years on his iPad that teach the same information that is showing on the apps on the Chromebook they issue and make the kids carry back and forth which i dont think a 5-7 year old should be carrying a backpack daily that is 15+lbs, they will tell you how to raise/parent your child also (happened to a close friend who also has a child at this school). To worried about their ratings, and not enough about the actual kids.EDIT: 2023-2024 School year, unfortunately i wasn't able to switch districts due to housing costs, NOTHING HAS CHANGED! More bullying incidents and now they are changing the hours of the school because they do not want to pay the teachers.

I have had two children at this school and can’t say anything bad about them. Anderson is wonderful!

This is my daughter's 1st year at this school. So far, we are very happy. Her teacher is very kind & seems to care about all of her students & their education. The principal is very good about communicating with the parents. She sends a newsletter every week with current events, etc. my daughter struggled in K at her old school & seems to be thriving at Anderson! There is also a great sense of community...lots of fun activities & involvement from families & teachers!

This school has some great teachers and some absolutely horrible ones, luck of the draw

My son and my daughter went to this school. The admin secretaries are great, however, there are issues with 4th/5th grade teaching staff. One particular teacher screams at the students. The principle of this school does not take parents seriously, and does not think he and his staff are able to do wrong. He does not have an open door policy when you as a parent have concerns, nor takes complaints or constructive criticism about any of his teaching staff. Curriculum is week. The school has barely passed Natl report card in 2011, and failed in 2010.
