I have had all three of my kids go through Lincoln and it has been a pretty experience. I like that it’s a small school and everyone knows everyone. You get that small town feeling. It has been open for 95 years now and they are going to be closing it, Remodeling it, and repurposing it. The students are so sad about this.

We love this school. PTO is wonderful. The feeling of community is very strong. Small class sizes make for a better learning environment. Teachers are able to really understand each student's learning styles and cater to each child as an individual. Our daughter is thriving, and we couldn't be happier with the level of education she is getting. We love each event that we attend, including the Christmas Sing, classroom parties, bingo night, wellness fair etc. Our family feels like we are at home each time we enter the doors. All of the staff is very warm and welcoming, making our shy daughter feel very comfortable.

My experience with this school has been absolutely wonderful. We moved here interested in St. Charles schools. Our daughter has had a very positive experience. She has the ability to know everyone in her class, as well as the other section. The school is small, and community focused. I'm impressed with what she learns and the skills she has developed.

Disappointed in almost every way you can think of. There are some teachers that enjoy belittling students into obedience. There is no way for the kids to enjoy the snow. It's always shoveled to the fence line. The kids are very cliquie. Not letting in new comers. Not a welcoming neighborhood school. More like a dirty little secret waiting to be exposed.

My Brother and I went to Lincoln school and loved it! If I could I would send my children there. Sure, it's not perfect, but overall I always felt safe there and like I was learning a lot. I'm now 30 and living in LA and would absolutely love to have a school out here with that same sense of community and good education.

Horrible environment. Don't let the test scores fool you, they teach to the tests. A tiny school in the school district, everyone's in everyone else's business. A gossip's paradise. PTO like a 7th grade clique. Tiresome, clique-ish relationship between gossiping parents and teachers. No space at all for athletics outdoors, just a blacktop playground in the back, lots of busy traffic on all 4 sides. Worst of all, although a few of the teachers are truly excellent, caring individuals, in the older grades most of the teachers are nothing short of abusive, belittling the children into obedience and destroying their confidence. Try to get into Munhall or somewhere else unless you enjoy 40 something post-adolescent peer pressure.
