My 5th graders teacher is awesome! So 5 out of 5 stars for her. The staff is very friendly, the new principle is nice but he's shy or an introvert. He never seems to have the time to talk to you. I LOVE that he's out there directing the traffic at the end of the day. We've needed that for years! As far as special ed, I think that needs some work. The teachers are good but I feel the only do the minimum with special ed kids. They need more teachers so the kids get more one on one learning.

We moved to the Munhall district in November of 2013 and have been thrilled to see the academic improvements made by our daughter since coming to Munhall. The teachers at Munhall are truly the most caring, kind, supportive people I know, they want the best for each and every child in their care. The communication between teachers and parents is outstanding. Our daughter arrived at Munhall with an IEP that she was struggling with and now, after adjusting her IEP to better meet her needs she is meeting and exceeding for IEP goals. We actually set more challenging IEP goals at Munhall and with the support and knowledge of her intervention teacher, Nancy O'Hara, she is succeeding! Transferring to Munhall was a wonderful decision for our family. Dr. Sculles & the whole teaching staff at Munhall, thank you! ~Christine L.

Recently moved to the area within the past year and heard how St Charles schools were so great. All I can say is I can't imagine a poor school if this is considered one of the better ones... It's been an adjustment in several areas.

Munhall is a fabulous building of caring and supportive families and teachers. The PTO is active promoting free family evening events like Science Night, Fall Fest, and the 'famous' LipSync performances. The demographics of this school are diverse, which promotes a community of appreciation. There is clearly a passion for learning...which is passed on to the students!
