My daughter has attended this school since kindergarten, and she is entering fourth grade. We live over 25 miles away, but I choose to take her hair because the school and the district is amazing. The staff from the superintendent down to the administration office staff are very engaged with the students. It surprises me when the principals know each student by name the amount of engagement from the staff as a whole is so refreshing. I say this is a private public school. Because it is a small district it is very intimate and the students get the attention they need. The superintendent is extremely engaged with her students. It honestly feels like a family. My daughter loves school so much and every year cries on the last day because she says she’s going to miss her teachers. If you are looking for a good elementary school, this is definitely one to look into.

I'm certain it's a wonderful school and district for nuerotypical students but my child's once robust IEP/504 Plan we began at this school with in Grade 2 devolved into generic accommodations by Grade 4 with no action items to help my child with counseling or therapy as was requested in Grade 2 and 3 plans and was easily provided by our previous school in another district. Perhaps the district is far too small for their district psychologist and school administrators to have the experience and savvy to stay on top of special services. My ADHD (possibly autistic) child experienced unkind words of "you're weird" and "don't play with her" which have greatly injured her self confidence with her schoolmates at her grade level.

I will forever be grateful to the Valle Lindo School district. My sons have had amazing experiences at both schools.

My son is in kinder with Mrs. Pearce and is reading very well. Going into her class with no head start and being able to accomplish reading shows that they're good teachers in New Temple. Thank you very much for providing my son with a productive first year in his education.
