I am an 8th grade student in this school who shall stay anonymous. The bullying has gotten out of hand. The teachers seem to not care much about this problem. I see many kids getting bullied for their race, what they like, and if they have a disability. Everything else is amazing it’s just this one problem that makes me want to get into high school as soon as possible.

So far so good. My daughter is in the 1st grade. She had a great kinder teacher, Ms Pocock whom has since retired. We were worried during the pandemic when she was placed with a teacher whom was not so tech savvy. My wife and I requested a class change. The principal told us she was willing to change her class but informed us that our daughters teacher was retiring and a excellent new teacher was just hired. We decided to trust her and Ms Lawerence took over the class. My daughter loves Ms Lawerence and her reading has improved greatly.I also give a lot of credit to my wife for that as well. My daughter absolutely loves the school and is part of the Reach for the Stars program as well. I will definitely be sending my younger daughter to Andrews. I highly recommend this school. Only thing missing is a dual language program or foreign language classes.

I am currently an 8th grader at Andrews and there used to be many bullying involved, maybe it depends on the grade level, but I haven't been experiencing any difficulties in education or communication other than being excluded and mentally bullied a few years back because of my race. This school has improved a lot and I hope even more in the future, a reminder is that they need to train teachers to reach out more to students from time to time whether or not they need it. Otherwise, great job Andrews!

I pulled my student out of this school because of bullying. it was going on for months even after a teacher was notified the first time, mind you by th time we found out there were 3 bullies involved. Andrews needs a tremendous amount of help dealing with this type of problem and the staff need to take a few workshops on this topic.

Needs improvement with student outreach, bullying and academics. Some teachers are not well trained or professional when it comes to dealing with student issues.

This is the most amazing school! I am very proud to send my child to Andrews and very excited that it is expanding to become a K-8 Learning Academy. The staff is excellent and will go out of their way to help any child or family. Congratulations Andrews on being named a National Blue Ribbon School. So well deserved!!!

As parent & former alum student as well this school is a hidden gem in our community. Andrews strive to motivate, encourage and teach our students to be future thinkers, learners and leaders. Teachers and staff are welcoming to parents. School events are inclusive to everyone around the community.

This school is overall a great school my kids have been going to this school for the 20 years and it gets better year after year. Teachers are great Principals do care about the students and the well being of the school. And the school also involves like my favorite the dad and daughter dance and or the mom and son trip to the Castle Park. they should have a dance for son and mom as well I think it would be fun

I just moved our son to this school and I am impressed. Teachers are involved and committed as are the parents that truly understand the meaning of having a quality education. It takes a village to raise a child and this school has proven that not only should the school and teachers be involved, but they also point out that parents should volunteer and be aware of their child's education.

I moved to Andrews Elementary from another school in the WCSD and could not have made a better choice. The teachers, staff and student body is superb! The community and school work together to ensure that Andrews is always doing its best for the children. We could not be happier having our 3 children call themselves Andrews Wildcats!! Great school! Great Staff! Great community! Great choice!!

Andrews is a great school! The teachers, principal, students, and families are a true community. The teachers and principal are committed to high standards and excellence. There are lots of ways parents can be involved and the parents are so friendly here. If you need anything, the school is there! We love Andrews!

My daughter loves the school. The school administration is helpful. The community environment is friendly and parents are awesome. I truly appreciate the teachers taking a genuine concern for all children. The API scores for last year was 858 and that was a significant jump from the previous year. The school is truly one of a kind.

We love Andrews School! Our children have been here since kindergarten and we cannot say enough great things about Andrews! The school's greatest strengths are the dedicated teachers that have huge hearts! They are the driving force that brings out the best in its students! Last year's API score of 858 is a reflection of the hard work and rigor involved at Andrews. Yes the classroom size went up and there are things that need improvement but what school isn't a work in progress? Active and dedicated parents are an important part of the school. Your child is part of a learning family that gets academic support and enrichment everyday! We highly recommend a visit to our school so that you can experience the Wildcat Learning Environment!

Great school with lots of activities and parent involvement. Even with all these budget cuts, it is good to know there are schools like andrews that come up with ideas so that our children still get a great education.
