AMAZING! My children were supposed to go to another school but it was closed before my children started there. Families and teachers mourned the loss of their school as though it was a part of the family. We never had that experience there but I have felt so blessed to have my children in this school, with this staff, and this principal.

Under the guidance of Mr. Ierano, the principle, Mt. Pleasant has been an ideal educational experience for our children. Any concerns that have arisen over the years are taken seriously and addressed promptly. The teachers range from very good to outstanding. There is a real sense of pride and community surrounding this school, making it a very special place. I recommend this school to anyone looking to join the community.I was so surprised to see some of the negative reviews posted here about Mt. Pleasant. Then, I looked at the dates of the reviews and it made more sense. I can't speak for what the school may have been like in 2006. Under the current principle, what ever problems there may have been in the past, it appears they have been resolved.

The absolute worst school. Especially if you have children with special needs. They expect perfection from the children. The school name should be changed to "mt perfect elementary".Disappointing and unsatisfactory in every sense. The principal seems to have little experience with special needs children. They lack compassion and dignity.
