The Teachers at MCS are wonderful and understanding. They care about homework getting turned in and if you can comprehend the literature. The thing that really got on my nerves about the school is the teachers are biased toward specific students whose parent(s) are on the MCS board. The students at the school, from what my kids tell me don't express God at all during recess or lunch. For example (I'm not going to name names) one girl, her mom is on the board, is very rude. She says whatever she wants, whenever she wants and the teachers don't correct her. She acts like the boss of the world. A couple times she has shoved my daughter without showing any care. The principle even expresses strong respect to the girl and her mother out of anyone else at the school. The student gets honor role every quarter every year. She always makes it on all sports teams and she of course somehow got the most votes for president of the school. Anyone could say "oh well she's just very successful." This is going to sound rude but the girl was the worst player on the volleyball and basketball teams. I highly don't recommend the school for those reasons.

I am so thankful for the wonderful Christian environment and academic quality our children received at Mountain Christian School. All 3 of our children graduated from the program at MCS and went on to do very well in High School. The teachers and staff love the Lord and were very caring going the extra mile to speak Christ into our children's lives encouraging growth in their character. They were given opportunities for academic growth and also for involvement in extra-curricular activities including sports, student council and even a class trip to Washington DC! My family loved the small class sizes and the attention from quality teachers. The tax credits made it possible for us to send all 3 of our children there! One of the best decision we've ever made!!

MCS has a great small school environment. Our three kids have made good friends and had lots of interaction with and attention from teachers. The cirriculum has challenged them much more than the local public school system. Teachers communicate easily with parents and have lots of opportunities to participate in class activities and service projects. Most importantly, Jesus is at the center of the school's mission and educational philosophy. If you live in Show Low, I strongly recommend you check out our school.

"Mountain Christian School is by far the best choice we have made when it comes to our boys' education. Both of my kids receive a quality academic education and learn biblical truths on a daily basis. The teacher to student ratio is unheard of around this area. The teachers are outstanding and go above and beyond to make sure the students comprehend and are comfortable with everything that is taught. The students are surrounded with Christian staff who lead by example in their daily life. Discipline is second to none and, in my experience, bullying has not been an issue and issues have been taken care of immediately. Both of my boys' faith in God and the bible have grown by leaps and bounds thanks to Mountain Christian School teaching the same values and beliefs that they are taught at home :) Mountain Christian School encourages each student to apply both spiritual and academic knowledge daily in the world around them. I can only pray that MCS expands to allow a high school as I dread the day that we have to switch to public school.

I love Mountain Christian School! I love the smaller classroom sizes. I love the one on one my children get at this school! I love that my children have a 4 day school week. I love the atmosphere, the teachers, the fact that they really push my kids to learn, and that my children want to because of the great teachers who make learning fun and interactive. But most of all, I love that my children can learn and talk and pray about/to Jesus everyday!

Mountain Christian School has been amazing. We were having trouble in our local public school and heard about this from a friend. The teacher's are amazing, the curriculum is above the normal level and the kids love it. Small class sizes and the freedom to structure the teaching on the students makes a big difference. Our son will be in 8th grade next year, and one thing that I do wish is that they offered high school classes. Hoping that will happen in the future.

Both of my girls go to this blessed school. My oldest has been there since kindergarten which has been 6 years now and my other working on year 2. They have grown spiritually and it has been a blessing to our family. Seeing them excited to learn and recite their Bible verses.weekly brings tears to my eyes. I am soooo glad we have a school up here that allows our kids to worship our Heavenly Father. Thank you MCS!

MCS has created a community of people working together for the sake of its children. High expectations for academics are paired with high expectations for moral behavior and hard work ethic. Biblical principals are not just preached, they are truly seen in the lives of the staff who teach there. It is important for me to send my children to a school where my values and believes are echoed, not eroded by the textbooks and teachers. No, it is not a perfect school- anyone searching for that will always be disappointed- but it is the kind of place that is truly preparing the hearts and minds of our kids for the changing world ahead of them. Don't send your children unless you are prepared to see a change in them- and possibly your entire family- for the better!

This is an excellent Christian school. Both my children (3rd and 7th grade) have been to other private, Christian and public schools in the past and this is by far the best we've found! Christianity is not only taught but an expected behavior of all students. Bullying hasn't been a problem like other schools we've experienced. The students are all accepting of one another-including disabilities. My kids faith has grown by leaps and bounds and the teachers truly care about each one of their students. In terms of the White Mountain area, we've been to both public schools and a charter school without much success. The quality of education is evident with an advanced, fast paced cirriculum.

This school allowed my child to be bullied until we had to remove him from the school.
