    This is an outstanding school district and their programs in fine arts, academics and athletics are tops in the surrounding area. If I had to do it over again all of my children would have attended this district from the very beginning.

    I'm not quite sure what school that other parent is talking about. My child was completely unchallenged, was actually complaining (what child does that?!!) that they had zero homework throughout the year and told me the teacher routinely fed the class test answers so they would receive the federal funding for CORE. Meanwhile, friends in Scottsdale are reading the classics and learning Latin. Do I want three hours of homework every night. No. But do I want to feel as if all kids, whatever their ability, are being challenged. Yes. I was also told much of the information had been taught to my child at a previous school two years ago. Needless to say, I'm not pleased. Step it up Blue Ridge and give our kids the education they deserve!
