The principals communication is NON EXISTING. My child was to go to summer school or be held back. Not ONE person contacted me or my son to let him know that he needed to attend summer school, we never found out until Open house day for what we thought was for his Junior year. It was then when i pulled him from this school and placed him in a private school.... Think twice before putting your child in this school.

As a parent of a special needs child, I always feel I need to review a schools credentials before enrolling my child and I find it very destrubing when I hear from friends in that area, that their special needs child are cleaning tolets and bathrooms instead of learning even the basic reading, writing, or math skills. My friend tells me that, her child comes homes at nights and cries becuase other students sees her in the hallways and ridicules her. After hearing this, my friend goes to the school to resolve the problem, the principal says it was a bad judgement call and that if she wants, the student can work in the office in lieu of cleaning duties. I think it is ridiculous that any school refuses to teach a child becuase he or she has special needs.
