This school is horrible. My son started there in 2018 and has had a horrible experience every year. I have had to pull him twice because of bullying and them not following his IEP. Every issue was always made out to be my son's fault, the school doesn't like to take responsibility for their part in any of it. One event the principal called me, told me my son was in his office having a screaming fit and for me to come up there and get him and he hung up the phone. They are never organized when it comes to school functions, the teachers don't communicate well.

Robin Beane has been fantastic to work with during the holiday season as White Funeral and Cremation Service arranged to "adopt" several children for holiday gift giving. She gives of herself, going above and beyond expectations in working to maintain privacy and to respect and maintain the dignity of the families with whom she works. At the same time she does whatever it takes to make certain the children receive their gifts. --From Billy Hardee, Shallotte Location Manager, Michael Fulwood, Bolivia Location Manager, and Susan Eggert, Community Educator.

I have a 6 yr old that attends Waccamaw as well as several nieces and I really have nothing bad to say about the school other than its age is starting to show. Other than that the staff is excellent and my child is growing rapidly in a positive manner.
