Absolutely amazing! I have had 6 out of my 8 children attend starkey, all of them loved it. The principal, teachers and staff are amazing!

Overall we give the school five stars for its emphasis not just on academics, but on efforts made for the development of the whole child. We believe the school has excellent leadership, and that this has enabled the presence of a very strong staff that creates an effective environment for learning and developing students on a spectrum of dimensions. Great things are accomplished and are done so in a cheerful and positive way. There is a true "Starkey spirit" that makes the experience very positive.

I enrolled my son, who has special needs, at Starkey last year for 3-PreK. My experience here has exceeded my expectations. He has improved exponentially since he started. His teachers have been available and accommodating. The front office staff has been friendly and helpful and Principal Chaffin and Vice Principal Harris are quite approachable. I hope we get to stay here throughout my son's elementary experience.

We moved to this district for Starkey and we are pleased with our decision. The staff is well qualified and each of my children flourish with learning.

After enrollment hassling, three school days, and one introduction to the school counselor, I have lost my little faith in the public school system, and decided to homeschool. This school tests well, but heavily descriminates against any person or child that doesn't exactly fit their mold. I encourage families in transition, or parents of children with special needs, to go to another school. We were quite literally ignored, lied to, snapped at, and pushed aside. My child's life is not something to compromise As parents, we are our children's true advocate.

My grandson has been at Starkey ES since kindergarten. The teachers are caring and devoted, and it shows in the students' grades and enthusiasm. He is now attending third grade, and I look forward to good grades this year as well.
