One of the best schools in Seattle. Very small classroom size, and many of the teachers are young parents whose kids go here. It's definitely a tight knit family environment with care paid toward same values. We were so lucky to have learned about such an amazing small school environment and look forward to years of our child going there.

We have had a fantastic experience with Concordia. The preschool program has teachers that are kind, caring and experienced. It was the perfect balance of play and learning. Our kiddos made friends, came home with lots of neat craft projects and funny stories, silly songs and dances. They were tired and happy, it was wonderful. Covid-wise, their policies were kid-appropriate, safe and well-considered.With such a good experience in the preschool, we continued onto their K-8 program and are so pleased. The classes are small enough to have 12:1 student:teacher ratio and I LOVE it. It's such a better fit than what we saw in SPS. The 1st - 8th grade classes are combined (1st and 2nd grade together, 3rd and 4th together, etc.) and it facilitates each student learning at their appropriate level.The school went through the accreditation process this year and scored very high. It's such a relief and pleasure to know our children are learning in a tailored environment, with diverse classrooms and a welcoming, kind community.

I love the school as a patent because I believe and stand with the value that the school has. My daughter love her teachers and the school stuff are a great encouragement and the academic program is great.

Concordia is a real hidden gem! Both of my children (kindergarten and 5th grade) love the school. Everyone, from teachers to staff are kind and attentive to each child's needs. What I like most about Concordia is that the classes are small which allows for a very personalized learning. Each child can learn at their own pace. If a child is a fast learner, he/she can move through the topics faster without feeling bored and if a child needs a little more time he/she can take his/her time without feeling rushed or pressured.Also, my family and I are not religious and we were a little hesitant to join a Lutheran school at first. However, I can say that we were never pressured to join a church or any religious activities. They respect everyone, all religions and beliefs.I can't recommend Concordia enough!

This is an incredible school. Small class sizes and amazing teachers who really do meet the students where they are at. Both of my kids (3rd and 5th grade) are new this year and are thriving. The small class sizes mean everyone is included (so no drama about where to sit for lunch or what to do at recess). And both are really engaged in learning; there is a healthy competition where they simply WANT to get their assignments done and tackle that next challenge. Although it's a religious school, they are very accepting of different beliefs and foster an appreciation for differing beliefs--they focus on everyone respecting everyone. We have been so happy we plan to stay through middle school.

Concordia is a nurturing, supportive and personalized school. Our twin boys attended the Giraffe preschool program and are just wrapping up their Kindergarten year on the White Team. We love the collaboration and teamwork that occurs across the grades. The teachers and entire staff are definitely partners with us in the growth and development of our children - mind, body, and spirit.

I have two children at Concordia and it has been a perfect fit for our family. The small class sizes, attentive teachers and the way they individualize the learning for my kids has made it such a great place to have our kids. It feels like family there and I love their focus on the whole child and each students individual needs. I am so thankful that we found such a hidden gem in the NE neighborhood.

Concordia is an amazing school with teachers and staff that truly care about their students. We enrolled our daughter for the preschool program and knew immediately it would be a great fit for us. We love the small class sizes, the individual attention she gets, and the inviting classrooms. When she reached Kindergarten, our intent had always been to transition to public school, but loved the school so much, we stayed! We are not a religious family, per se, and even though it is a Christian school, we have never felt anything but welcome there. I highly recommend this school!

Concordia is a fabulous school. I have two girls and a boy here and if there have ever been problems they were dealt with immediately by the capable hands of the administrator principal and teachers. Education is excellent and I would recommend school to anyone who wants a quality education for their children.

My child attended this school for the beginning of the 2012/2013 school year. She is a girl and the other girls did not welcome her or treat her kindly. The behavior was not dealt with and we left the school. I have seen posts from two other families that this happened to here; both had the same thing occur. The posts are always removed within a week. Interesting.

I am a former student of Concordia. I attended from 4th to 6th grade and loved it! Especially in 4th and 5th grade, where my teacher gave our class a great foundation. Things I learned during those years have stayed with me and helped me during Junior High and High School! Despite the small class size, I still had the opportunity to take an advanced math class. The small class size does mean that the students have a much closer bond, and students in combined-grade classrooms (i.e. 3rd and 4th) have the opportunity to learn from older students and get a taste of what they will learn the following year.
