I would rate the school a 10. It provides a safe culture for people with learning differences.

My son has been attending this school for seven years. These teachers have been wonderful! They truly go the extra mile in making sure every needs are met. I volunteer to help with school program so I see this involvement every day. It's unfortunatel, not too many parent volunteer here?! If they want their children to succeed , They need to be more active and get involved. Parents need to realize that it takes both side to make this school experience a successful one. There's a reason why this school has been around for more than 25 years.

In terms of finding identity and fitting in, your child would most likely achieve social prosperity as a student here. However, educational aspects of the school are severely lacking. On top of this, the school's curriculum is horribly unorganized, tuition is overpriced, and student management is laughable. My child will most likely never get into a good college after sending her to this school, whereas before she was completely capable. Unless your child has a SEVERE learning disability, I do not suggest you invest your child's education here.

Chatham Academy is a Blessing to our family! The teachers and staff are the tops! In just 3 years, our son has overcome so many challenges, he's so excited about learning, loves his friends and teachers, and even excited about sports. God Bless all the staff at Chatham Academy for what they do for our son daily.

My son has attended this school for four years, and we feel so lucky and blessed to have discovered it. My son's learning differences are not what most would consider profound, but they are present enough that he struggled to keep up in mainstream schools, and his self-esteem plummeted. Chatham Academy's tailored teaching approach has helped him immensely both academically and emotionally. He loves the school, and he feels as if he is surrounded by family there. The teachers and staff clearly love what they do, and are amazingly kind, patient and innovative.
