The school doesn’t do anything for prohibition of bullying. A lot of kids left when they needed to transition to middle school due to bullying. The principal even tried to do gas writing to kids about the bad kids just trying to help. all the bad experience from this school still impacts on my kid and my kid needs to take mental therapy.

My youngest son is in 5th grade and has been attending St. Justin's since second grade. The faculty and teachers are fantastic, and the academics are rigorous. My son also plays flag football, basketball and volleyball and is involved in extracurricular activities. My older son graduated from middle school here last year and was involved in many different AP classes. The school and students have been very inclusive and kind, and my youngest son is so happy here. I highly recommend if you are looking for a school for your child.

I was at this school last school year and the quality of the school plummeted during 23-24 school year. My teacher was unexperienced and came straight out of UC Berkeley. The parents complained and a lot of people (including me) left the school. I think the teachers support and motivate the students, but in my opinion, the standards are way too low. I feel like my classmates were disrespectful probably because they learned bad habits from their older siblings. There is this person named Fanum Tax who makes people give him food as tax, which I believe is kind of like stealing. This school academically is no good, but they try to specialize in social emotional support, which I don't think is needed greatly. The highest score someone can get in my math class is over 75%, which is a C in my current school. Lots of homework were given on Social Studies, which isn't the top 3 most important subjects (English, Math, and Science). To conclude this, I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL because of the need for this school to improve especially academically.

The teachers are inexperienced, the principal is incompetent, rude and unprofessional. Extended care staff are horrible.

Unfortunately, the quality not this school has plummeted. Some teachers are wonderful, many are brand new and have zero classroom management skills. Safety is abysmal-parents had to cover the fence that was open to the park because people at the park had been recording videos of students. 9 of 21 elementary and middle school staff members left this school year. The front office staff members are wonderful. The rest of the administration doesn't care to take the time to get to know parents, and we feel invisible.

This school make so much bad impact on my child. when she just joined the school, she had short hair, the classmates tested her hair was short and she should be the transgender. One of the big girls kept pushing my child when they were standing in the path. The kids in the class sometimes lied to the teachers and bullied my kid. The school did not solve the issues, instead, they gaslighted the classmates are so nice and she must be something wrong. This is really hurt to my kid and family. We left this school since I saw there was no path in managing bad kids.

Both of my children are currently enrolled at St. Justin, and are having good experiences. There has been some recent staff turnover with many teachers reaching retirement, and others moving on to different opportunities. Some teachers are also parents at the school, but those who are hired as teachers are very qualified to be filling these positions. Discipline is something that is being actively worked on, and the administration is very aware of the issues at hand based on my conversations with them. Family involvement is highly valued, and this makes it a really wonderful community for children to grow and thrive!

The teachers are supportive and warm. I love the classroom that we could feel happy and warm decorated by the room teacher. Most room teachers are good and responsive. I also love the family alike environment and nice kids. But some of subjects like PE, Math are taught by the parents who are the St.Justin Alumni. The patent teachers ruin the St.Justin teacher’s reputation. Especially accelerated my math class quality is not good, a lot of parents complain. There are some mean girls and Queen B could be seen in American teen drama. Those kids brings cell phones at school and use it behind the teacher which have bad impact on the other kids. I feel sorry about a lot of nice kids and parents.

The academic program was mediocre, especially in the mathematics area, despite the fact that my child took the accelerated course. My child faced bullying. There were rumors spread, and my child was would come home everyday dejected.

Our family LOVES St Justin’s. The academics are top notch and the family oriented community is unbeatable! We had a wonderful experience in the Preschool which prompted us to stay on through 8th grade with our 3 children. We loved that the preschool program incorporated play and learning in a super loving environment. The staff are dedicated, patient and gentle. The teachers are sweethearts and my kids still visit their classrooms for hugs!

PS and P-K teachers need to learn how to speak respectfully, and treat the children with respect. Unfair punishments. Teachers need to learn how to approach & solve misunderstandings between the children. Teachers need to learn how to listen to both children in an argument, & have them talk it out so they can resolve the conflict.

My three children attended St. Justin School. They received an excellent educational experience, participated in top notch athletic programs and developed a strong spiritual core. My son is a mechanical engineer, my daughter is a doctor and my younger son is majoring in mechanical engineering/business in college. They received a strong foundation that helped them become successful in their own right. I highly recommend St. Justin School for your children.

Overpriced, archaic, and just plain not worth it. I went to school here in the early 80's and even then, as a child, saw how stressed my parents were at being forced to pay for every little, flipping thing, getting fleeced left and right, all in the name of a "good education". And the teachers were nothing inspirational either. I especially found Mrs. Almazol (sp?) quite acerbic. The education in this country is a mess, period, and Catholic schools take full advantage of this. St. Justin's is no exception.

the admin staff has their own weird policy about who gets admitted into their programs.. they are not open and fair about thier admission process... they are private school and they have the right to decide who they choose as their stduents but they will just be outright rude and unreasonable with you if you don't fit the profile of someone who they have in their mind.. the irony is that their acaemic program is mediocre, below average, compared to other catholic programs in the adjasent neighborhoods..
