I went to this school 2007-2013. This school first off has a large campus with a large field for children plus a large asphalt play area and two new playground (playgrounds updated in 2019). They also have a after school child care center, as a child it was boring and I did not like the people that ran it, however as a parent it can be very useful. I cannot comment and price because I don't know. The teachers were all nice,I dont remember any teachers that were mean. The classrooms have everything you would need, not lacking in supplies (execpt tissues). They also have a few assistant teachers that help struggling kids, as someone that used that help I can say that it was beneficial to me. However the best thing that I remember about the schools were the actives that they held, obviously field trips. They also had afyer school events that were a lot of fun and make great memories. The people that live in the area are safe and friendly.

I have been happy with this school during the years my children have attended. The teachers are mostly dedicated and effective and the principal works hard to keep the school a high performing, safe, and happy place for students.

Terrible over the last few years. New leadership has resulted in the school community falling apart.

Sutter is the best elementary school in Santa Clara. A great mix of students and parents and a nice quiet location. The test scores are excellent considering the diversity in the school. The parents are a nice mix of long term local residents and people working in Silicon Valley. Sutter forms a great foundation for your kids education.

Sutter grade (K) has two adults watching a 120 children during recess & lunch recess. This is an issue and hopefully it gets worked out before the next school year.

I like this school , this is great school, students and teachers. my daughter she's very enjoy the play ground and all the activity.

I used to go to Sutter, and I just visited the other day. I miss it so much! It was a really friendly, family oriented environment. School spirit, leadership, and parent involvement was great! I loved the music program, and I highly recommend it. I also loved the after-school care they have on campus. I learned a lot there. Only complaint is Buchser isn't a very good middle school, and that's where everyone usually goes. I'd suggest Peterson Middle School instead.
