We had transferred into Saint Clare in 6th grade. My daughter initially had a good experience but sadly, she began to be bullied by her classmates. We didn’t get school support and ended up leaving mid-year. Seems like many families are leaving due to bullying.

Despite my 3-star rating, I do have hope for this small, private, Catholic school. There are many families who have left, very recently (23-24) in many middle school classes due to bullying. The school, despite all efforts from parents, did nothing to address the root causes and have subsequently caused more harm to the overall atmosphere than good. There was a big change in Administration, which was a hopeful sign, but alas, things still did not resolve. I will say that if your child has a strong personality and shell, they *might* survive the mean kids. But know, your family will not receive any support from the administration - who are very much aware of the issues. The teachers on the middle school side are top-notch. Truly, they are. We left mid year after months and months of effort to resolve the class shunning, to no avail. Just beware, the academics are great but the social aspect is sub-par.
