I am one of Sunrise Elementary's biggest fans. They are ranked #1 for a reason. I'm proud to have my children at this school. We started off at another nearby neighborhood school and had a good experience there. Two of my children tested into the SALTA program and we left our neighborhood school to try out the SALTA program at Sunrise. We loved the program/school so much that we've never left! My other two children are on permit at Sunrise taking regular ed classes and we love it. We have been happy with both the SALTA and regular ed teachers. The teachers truly love their students and are amongst the best. I've been able to volunteer in classrooms (pre-COVID) and was highly impressed with teacher instruction and classroom management. If you've worked closely with the principal and office staff you know that they truly love each child and want the best for each of them. I've been so impressed with the faculty, lunch workers, office workers, and head janitor. I've been able to get to know many of them through being a PTA volunteer over the years. Keep up the good work, Sunrise!!

This school is fabulous. The principal is wonderful, involved, caring, consistent, responsive and happily present. The teachers are educated, dedicated and loving. Parents are involved. We have been in two other elementary schools. There is no comparisons. This one Is far and away the best school experience we have had! Thanks to sunrise!

Sunrise is a wonderful school. The teachers are very committed to the students. I have had three of my kids in this school so far and they have all loved it. We have only had one problem with bullying and I felt that the school handled it quickly and addressed all concerns for all parties.
