- Submitted by parent on August 24, 2017This is by far the worst school my kids have ever attended. The education system is behind, I worked with my kids after school just to get them ready for the next grade knowing we would be moving to a different state. All of the work was repetitive from the previous year. My kids and my family were discriminated, excluded, alienated from everyone in the "ward." Being active duty military and being isolated with no support from the teachers and staff made it so difficult for our kids to even attend Altara Elementary. Parent\teacher communication was one sided and was always favored for the kids in the "ward." Thank you Altara Elementary for making a statement on my child's life of how not to treat others that are different.
