I'm a current student, and so far I have had a great experience! Most of my teachers are great (of course, there are some that are horrible, but most teachers are great), and I am enjoying my time here. I, along with all of my friends, have excellent grades (all over 90%). Most of my teachers are funny and takes their time to make sure that everyone understands the concepts. Some teachers give a ton of homework while some teachers give none. My core teacher last year said "I will not be assigning homework, but whatever you don't finish in class is homework", and then he proceeded to give only 5-10 minutes in class to work on it, so sometimes it took over an hour to finish just the core homework. There's not a lot of bullying, but some kids tend to get left out on things a lot. Also, there's already been a fight this year, and we're only a month into school. Overall, a great school though.

My friend attended this school and said mostly good things about it. She was in advanced math and she found that pretty easy to learn. She also had high grades- so did all her friends, so I'm assuming this school is great with academics. Also, the campus is really big, and I've actually been there. Real pretty. The only thing I found terrible about this school was that someone allegedly sold vapes here. My friend said it was probably true because there was a 'smokey' smell always coming from the bathroom. Another friend attending this school got addicted to vapes. Not sure if they were given the vapes in school or not. And I've always heard that people are always fighting in this school. I recommend GRMS, but if you attend, be careful. Don't get addicted to vapes. Don't get into fights. Good luck!

I like it overall, and my years in here are very enjoyable! One thing I would like to suggest to the school would be to scrap yoga during gym. Some poses we have to do are WAY too revealing, and as a girl who has to sit next to a bunch of boys, it's just uncomfortable. But I'll always hold a little bit of Gryphon pride inside of me. Graduating to high school soon!

Recently the behavior in this school has been declining plus there have been more and more kids moving from places like oaklnd and Hayward coming to the school which hasnt helped the matter. Plus the admin is clueless of most of the disciplinary issues and fights that pop up at this school which my daughter has shown me videos. Gale ranch is subpar compared to other schools in san ramon, which is why I will be switching my child back to windemere ranch middle school.

Academicly gale ranch is a good school, however the kids there have very little discipline. In this past month alone there have been 8 fights at school, many of which the admin is unaware of. This is due to the weak and nonexistent enforcement of discipline .

New leadership has made some questionable changes to the school. Teachers are asking for transfers to other schools. If you are not one of the "insiders" do not bother volunteering for PTSA. All in all, not what I was hoping to experience.

The school is relatively new and is slowly gaining a reputation as the best middle school in the district. Wecoming environment and caring teachers and staff!

Gale Ranch Middle School: Modern campus, good technical facilities, generally good teachers. The schools in this side of San Ramon are why the property values are so high. Note well: The district rates fair to porr with students who need services. You have to constantly remind people to deliver the promised services even when the accommodations are spelled out in an IEP.

I've been going to this school for a little over a year, and I love it! There are many kind people here, and it's easy to make new friends. The teachers are all very kind and helpful, and the variety of electives is nice too. The school isn't too big, so it's not too hard to find your way around if your new. And like Windemere Ranch, the school has a buddy system for new students, where your buddy will take you to all your classes on the first day. I love GRMS's library, there's so many good books to read. Unlike Windemere's, Gale's library has many more fiction books, in addition to a good amount of nonfiction. This is a very good school, both academically and physically, they have a good PE course too.

Gale Ranch Middle school is the best. I am a student recently attended. Before I have attended this school. I was not the best at any subject. Now I am great at math, reading, writing, science, and history. I have even improved in physical education. So if you are going to send your child to a middle school. Send them here to Gale Ranch Middle school. You can even make great friends here in Gale Ranch middle school.

My son graduated from this school last year. Principle is awesome, teachers are amazing. My son was struggling and somewhat behind when he started this school, but the staff was determined to help me turn him around -- and they did! His confidence has been restored and he is continuing to excel.
