My son phone fell out of his pocket and got it tooken away but a girl was using her phone and got away with it. My son got no warning and this girl got 3 warnings.Another time my son said no to a teacher and he got sent out the class while the same girl said no and never got sent out.My son was also attacked by some girls and when he fought back he got sent to detention.The teachers also went through his phone and backpacks without hie permisson.This is why my son transfered to ohlone middle school where everything is much more equal there

My child has excelled here. He transferred her, struggling in his previous school. Now is consistently making As and Bs AND on Honor Roll! He LOVES Sunrise!

We enrolled my son here after he had been bullied at a school in our home district. We were very happy with this unusual little school. They provide opportunities for field trips like sailing and camping, there is meditation in the mornings, and have a music teacher who teachers rock music which is actually a pretty good way to spawn an interest in music for some kids. They're title one, and doing a lot to improve test scores across the school. I was very impressed with the administrators and teachers, who all seem very motivated to increase their students' opportunities for the future and to continue improving the school's resources.
